Drawing of the Plaza Public Art project

I am beginning the Ashland Plaza Public Art project in earnest now, with some short breaks for the holidays and a bit of holiday travel. The first stie is designing the ceramic “wave” shapes that can be set together to create the pattern or opened up with mosaic to break up the line.

Currently, the archaeologist is working on excavating certain areas of the plaza, hoping to find some  signs of early  habitation.  The link to a Medford Mail Tribune Article is here

Archaeologist Jeff LaLande climbs out of a pit dug Tuesday in the Ashland Plaza, where he found remnants dating to the mid-19th century.
